Výměnný pobyt našich žáků v dánském Broendby - 8.třídy
Tuesday (08/10)In the morning, as we woke up at five o'clock, most of us were feeling very nervous. But when i realized that it was practically like holiday, I started feeling good.
We were supposed to be at the airport at half past six but some of us were even early and in the end we were all there in time .
After meeting up, we took a photo together and then we were ready to go. When we were in the plane, it was the most chill flight i’ve ever experienced.
When we landed we waited for a while for the Danish kids, but then they finally showed up. The first time we met them, it was kinda awkward but it quickly got better and we all started chatting.
Then we arrived to their houses and had a little house tour, where left our bags, and after that we had meeting at the train station, Brondby Strand.
Since we arrived it had been raining, so our teachers decided that we are gonna go shopping instead so stay indoors, so we did.
After shopping we went home just get some rest. We had already decided to go to the youth club, it was awesome cause our school or neighbourhood doesn’t have anything like that so we all enjoyed it.
Finally we all got back home, had delicious dinner, chatted with eachother and I think that everyone was so exhausted that they fell asleep very quickly.
It was a long day, but a fun one, and we are looking forward to getting to see some more of Copenhagen tomorrow!

Wednesday (09/10)
The first thing of the day we had to meet at Brondby Strand station at 9:00. It was great to see everyone and catch up on how our evening's had been.
Then we took a train and drove to Copenhagen and started our city tour. Our first stop was Rosenberg castle which was really pretty and it is the home of the Danish Crown jewels. At every stop the Danish students gave a little presentations about the place so we could learn a little more about what we were looking at.
After some more walking to get to the centre of Copenhagen, we went to a sightseeing trip on a boat.
We saw a lot of interesting stuff and saw the highlights of the city. “The boat trip” was for 1 hour, and we were lucky that it wasn't raining...it was a little cloudy but the sun was trying to come out too!
Next, we had some “free time” to grab some food, or check out some shops. Afterwards , we met up again to continue our walking tour to make up for what we missed out on yesterday.
We made it to the Little Mermaid, which we had seen from the boat, when it started raining again.
For the next hour we walked to see some other things that we didn’t see yesterday. But the rain was getting heavier and heavier so we went to the subway and we could go home at around 16:00.
In the evening, everyone met up together at some different places and were chatting for a while. Then everyone had a chill evening at home just chatting or watching movies.
It was a fun day but I am already so tired!
