The Parents' Club
The Parents' Club with the Kladská Primary School was founded in the school year 1996/1997. It is a non-profit voluntary association which cooperates with the school management and staff and protects the parents' and pupils' interests in negotiations with the school management and staff.
The Parents' Club with cooperation with the headteacher and pedagogic staff organizes extra lessons and free time activities. As the school is focused on teaching languages, the Parents' club organizes additional language lessons: German and English for the lower school classes and French, Spanish as well as preparation for entrance exams in Czech and maths for the upper school classes. The Parents' club takes part on financing and organizing free time activities. The offer of free time activities depends on the interest of pupils and their parents. The Parents' club cooperates with the school as well on improving learning environment and helps to finance mainly updating ICT resources.
Every year the Parents' Club gives new pupils coming to the 3rd grade a welcome (presentation of commemorative plaques), prepares the farewell of the pupils of the 9th grade (buys ribbons) and helps to organize the Children's Day. In 2002 the Parents' Club participated greatly in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of our school in which more than 700 Kladská school graduates took part.
The following club activities organized by the Parents' Club are being offered in our school:
The Parents' Club meets regularly once a month under the leadership of Mrs. Blanka Zoubková. The vice president is MRS Miroslava Zaoralová and the cashier is Mrs Kateřina Dvořáková Parents working in the Parents' Club are often Kladská school leavers with a long-term relationship to the school. Today's pupils are sometimes the 3rd or 4th generation within a family attending our school.
